Rhode Island's state branding was in great need of an update. With too many color variants, awkward positioning, a challenge incorporating into layout, and considered controversial. My inspiration on the revision was the idea of a stamp; simple, bold, easily recognizable. A serif font to anchor it, solidify itself and the state (which may be small geographically) packs a powerful punch of personality, charisma, and unique charm.
